Guess what, Suits fans? Our beloved legal drama, which stole our hearts with its sharp wit and charming characters, is getting a brand-new spin-off, and this time, it’s in Los Angeles!
Suits Reboot, titled Suits L.A. is all thanks to the show’s surge in popularity after hitting Netflix in 2023. The original series, which ran from 2011 to 2019, had us hooked on the story of Mike Ross, played by the awesome Patrick J. Adams, a super smart college dropout with a photographic memory who bluffed his way into a top law firm with the help of his mentor, Harvey Specter, played by the equally amazing Gabriel Macht.
The original Suits cast (which included Patrick, Gabriel, Sarah Rafferty, and Gina Torres) reunited at the 2024 Golden Globes. Patrick spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his eagerness to jump back into the world of Suits. He was all smiles, sharing, “I would jump in there. I’ll do whatever they want. Whatever the fans want, I’m there. I love this role. I love the world. I love everybody involved.” It’s clear he’s got a soft spot for Mike Ross, and so do we. His journey from bike messenger to a courtroom hero was nothing short of epic.

But here’s where things get really interesting. Suits Reboot is still in the early stages, with the original mastermind, Aaron Korsh, working his magic throughout the script. And while Patrick is on board with whatever comes next, we’re all still left wondering…what about Mike and Rachel? Last we saw, they were on their way to Seattle. Patrick thinks they’re out there, “saving the world and doing their thing.”
Whether Mike Ross makes a courtroom comeback in Suits L.A. remains to be seen. Still, with Adams open to the idea and the show’s original creator back in charge, one thing’s for sure: new legal adventures with sharps suits, witty banter, and maybe even a familiar face or two!
