Zendaya has sparked online speculation after apparent frosty interactions with Sydney Sweeney and Sam Levinson at the premiere of Euphoria.
The rumours intensified after clips from the season three red carpet event in Los Angeles went viral, with viewers interpreting Zendaya’s behaviour as distant toward both her co-star and the show’s creator.
In one widely circulated video, Zendaya is seen briefly hugging Levinson before appearing to be guided away by her team, despite what looked like him encouraging a photo together.

Another clip shows Zendaya appearing to walk past Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow without greeting them, further fuelling online discussion about possible tension among the cast.
Reports also claimed Zendaya left the premiere after a brief appearance of around 10 minutes, adding to speculation of unease at the event.
The rumours build on earlier speculation about alleged tension between Sweeney and Zendaya involving Zendaya’s partner Tom Holland, though none of the parties involved have confirmed any such claims.
An unnamed insider previously told The Sun, “it’s an open secret that Sydney had the hots for Tom and was flirty with him”.
Neither Zendaya nor Sweeney has publicly commented on the speculation.

Zendaya has also previously been linked to behind-the-scenes tension with Levinson over delays in the production of Euphoria. The pair were rumoured to have disagreed over the long gap between seasons, with conflicting reports about scheduling and creative priorities.
However, Zendaya addressed those claims in a 2024 interview, stating that the delay was not due to her availability. She said the show was “not delayed because of my schedule” and that she was “just waiting” for the scripts.
Despite ongoing rumours, the cast and creators have not confirmed any disputes. The speculation comes as anticipation builds for the upcoming release of Euphoria season three, which is set to air on April 13.
