“Wednesday” returned in September with Season 2 Part 2. The last four episodes of the season pulled in 28.2 million views in their first five days on Netflix, which is a 43.6% drop from Part 1 that had 50 million views in the same period.
Even so, the dark comedy starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams hit No. 1 on the English TV top 10 chart, while Season 2 Part 1 stayed at No. 6. Since the first half of Season 2 came out in August, some fans may be waiting to watch the whole season at once.

After the big marketing push for Part 1, it could also take more time for others to notice that new episodes are now out. The first season of “Wednesday” is still the most-watched season of TV on Netflix ever, with 252 million views worldwide in its first 91 days.
Right after “Wednesday” is Season 2 of the teen drama “My Life With the Walter Boys,” which gained 10.9 million views in its second week. The hype also lifted the first season, putting it at No. 5 with 3.5 million views between Sept. 1 and Sept. 7. The British limited series “Hostage” placed third, and “Katrina: Come Hell and High Water” followed.
On the English films chart, the documentary “Unknown Number: The High School Catfish” took first place with 26.3 million views in its second week. Since its Aug. 23 release, “KPop Demon Hunters” is still drawing viewers, landing at No. 2 with 25.4 million views. “The Thursday Murder Club,” which came out on Aug. 22, ranked No. 3 with 18.7 million views in the first week of September.
Below are Netflix’s Top 10 from Sept. 1-7, starting with English shows and movies, followed by non-English shows and movies.
