Severance star Tramell Tillman has officially joined the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the upcoming Marvel and Sony collaboration. Known for his standout role as Seth Milchick in the Apple TV+ hit series, Tillman’s casting has been met with excitement from fans many joking it feels like a Music Dance Experience all over again.
Audiences less familiar with Severance may recognize Tillman from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, where he played Captain Bledsoe opposite Tom Cruise.
According to Variety, Tillman has signed on for an undisclosed role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He now joins an ensemble that features Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as M.J. Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/The Scorpion, along with Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas in mystery parts. Rumors also point to the appearance of another major MCU hero, though neither Sony nor Marvel have confirmed it.
Production is currently underway in Glasgow, Scotland, with the city standing in for New York. The highly anticipated sequel follows The Fantastic Four: First Steps and will lead directly into Avengers: Doomsday. Set photos have already teased the presence of an iconic Spider-Man villain, fueling speculation that Tillman could be portraying a primary antagonist.
