Arizona teacher Haley Beck, 27, the older sister of TikTok personality Noah Beck, is currently under investigation for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a former student at Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office confirmed that Haley, who taught psychology and sociology at the school, is being reviewed for a potential pandering charge, which relates to inducing another person to engage in prostitution. A second teacher at the same school, Angela Burlaka, is separately under review for allegedly providing obscene material to a minor. Authorities noted that no timeline has been set for when charging decisions will be made.
A Statement of Charges obtained by PEOPLE, stemming from a Peoria Unified School District investigation, alleges that Haley offered sexual acts to a former student, offered to purchase alcohol for him, and sent him $630 through Apple Pay. Investigators reviewed over 4,000 text messages exchanged between the two from June 21 to August 2, 2025, which reportedly included discussions about meeting for sex, consuming alcohol and marijuana, and multiple sexually explicit references.
The Statement of Charges further alleges that Haley began grooming the student before he reached the age of 18. School officials noted the relationship raised red flags as early as December 2024, when she allowed him to use her car keys to retrieve Christmas gifts she had stored in her vehicle, a dynamic they described as a “quid pro quo” arrangement. She is also accused of inflating the student’s grades and falsifying his attendance records.
Investigators found that Haley had saved the student’s contact on Snapchat under the name “Sneaky Link,” referred to herself as a “Sugar Momma,” and labeled him her “Sugar Baby.” One of her own payment captions allegedly read: “This money exchange just felt like straight prostitution.”
A Title IX decision maker recommended Haley’s termination on March 11, finding that grooming had taken place and that any sexual conduct following that point was therefore unwelcome, regardless of age of consent. The recommendation also classified the conduct as severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive within the context of a teacher-student relationship. The school’s governing board formally adopted the Statement of Charges and moved to terminate her employment at their March 26 meeting.
Haley was placed on administrative leave in August 2025. Her attorney, Matthew Long, stated that she respects the legal process and maintains her innocence, expressing confidence that a full review of the facts will clear her.
The Peoria Unified School District, in a statement, said it takes all allegations of student harm seriously, confirmed it had waited for the Peoria Police Department to conclude its investigation before proceeding internally, and reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and student safety. The matter has also been referred to the Arizona Department of Education and remains pending before the State Board of Education.
Haley Beck’s representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
