Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton appear to have taken their rumored romance to the next level, seemingly making things Instagram official in a playful new video.
Months after first sparking dating speculation, the reality star and seven-time Formula 1 champion fueled excitement when Hamilton shared a video on April 6 showing him driving a red Ferrari through the streets of Tokyo. As he drifted the car, Kardashian was revealed sitting in the front passenger seat, smiling.
When asked about the high-speed ride, she responded, “That’s insane.”
Kardashian had traveled to Japan to support Hamilton ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, spending time in Tokyo alongside her sister Khloé Kardashian. Her four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West, were also part of the trip, as she documented on social media.
Rumors about the pair first began circulating in January when they were spotted attending the same New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, Colorado. Speculation intensified a month later when the two were seen boarding a private flight from the U.K. to Paris together.
Since then, Hamilton has continued to engage with Kardashian online. In March, he left a heart-eye emoji on her Vanity Fair Oscars after-party Instagram post while he was in Shanghai for the Chinese Grand Prix.
Although the Tokyo video marks the first time Kardashian has appeared on Hamilton’s social media, fans believe he may have already made a subtle appearance on hers. In a February clip posted by Kardashian, where she and her sisters attempted a TikTok trend, voices could be heard laughing in the background — with some fans convinced one of them belonged to Hamilton. As one commenter noted, “Am I the only one who can hear Lewis’s laugh?”
Despite the growing speculation, neither Kardashian nor Hamilton has publicly confirmed their relationship status.
However, Kardashian has previously opened up about her outlook on love. Speaking on an episode of The Kardashians in November, she said, “I’m the biggest hopeless romantic. When the right person comes along, I’ll be so ready and everything will be fine.”
