Khloe Kardashian is directly addressing long-running speculation about the identity of her biological father — and she’s doing it with humor.
On the Nov. 20 episode of The Kardashians, the reality star joked about the persistent rumor that former NFL player O.J. Simpson whom her late father Robert Kardashian Sr. represented during the Nicole Brown Simpson murder trial — is secretly her biological dad.
The moment unfolded after Kim Kardashian revealed she was the anonymous buyer who paid more than $80,000 last year to acquire a Bible once owned by O.J. Simpson, which Robert had gifted to him. Kim’s initial private offer of $15,000 to purchase the item from O.J.’s estate was rejected, prompting the sisters to tease the speculation surrounding Khloe’s parentage.
“What a–holes just to not just give it to us,” Khloe quipped. “It’s proven he’s our dad.”
Kim responded with her own joke: “Well, it’s questionable between which one, between O.J. and Dad.”
Laughing, Khloe added, “Both of my dads. Give it to me!”
The Bible, dated June 18, 1994 just six days after Nicole Brown Simpson’s murder, includes a handwritten inscription from Robert to his client. Kim later gifted the book to Khloe as a birthday present.
“I don’t have many things of my dad’s,” Khloe said in a confessional, reflecting on Robert Kardashian Sr., who died in 2003. “When my dad died things happened and we didn’t get a lot of his stuff. Just seeing his name and handwriting was very sentimental to me.”
The Bible also contained passages that Robert had underlined for Simpson. Kim pointed out one marked section as Khloe read aloud from James 3:5: “The tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do.”
O.J. Simpson who died in 2024 denied fathering Khloe before his passing. “Bob Kardashian was like a brother to me,” he wrote on Twitter (now X) in 2019. “Khloe, like all the girls, I’m very proud of, just like I know Bob would be if he was here. The simple fact of the matter is she is not mine.”
New episodes of The Kardashians stream on Thursdays on Hulu.
