Graham Norton is stepping into the TARDIS — and he’s bringing Eurovision energy with him.
The beloved comedian and host of The Graham Norton Show will guest star in an upcoming episode of Doctor Who, the BBC confirmed on Friday. The special installment will revolve around a musical intergalactic showdown known as the Interstellar Song Contest — a cosmic spin on the Eurovision Song Contest, which Norton has commentated on for the UK since 2009.
The Eurovision-inspired episode will be the sixth of the new season and features Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor alongside his new companion Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu. The pair land in the midst of the universe’s biggest music competition, where planets go head-to-head in a battle of sound for galactic glory.
Norton won’t be the only familiar face in the lineup. The star-studded episode will also feature appearances from Freddie Fox (Slow Horses), Rylan (The X Factor), Kadiff Kirwan (Fleabag), Charlie Condou (Coronation Street), and Miriam Teak-Lee, best known for & Juliet.
