Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker found himself at the center of online chatter after sharing that he skipped Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance, a comment that quickly fueled speculation due to the singer’s past relationship with Booker’s ex, Kendall Jenner.
Speaking to reporters following the 2026 NBA All-Star Game on February 15, Booker addressed whether he had tuned in to the halftime show, where Bad Bunny headlined the performance.
“I didn’t watch to be completely honest.”
The comment immediately drew attention on social media, with some users suggesting that lingering tension between Booker and Bad Bunny could explain why the NBA player didn’t tune in. Both men previously dated Kendall Jenner at different points in time.
Booker and Jenner were in an on-again, off-again relationship between 2020 and 2022. Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was romantically linked to the Kardashian star between 2023 and 2024.
Speculation around possible friction between the two men intensified in 2023, when fans believed Bad Bunny referenced Booker in his song “Coco Chanel.” On the track, the singer raps that the “sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix” and “she knows it,” which many listeners interpreted as a pointed jab.
Despite their breakup, Jenner and Booker have continued to spark reunion rumors. The former couple has been spotted together on multiple occasions since splitting, including a ski trip in Aspen, Colorado, around Valentine’s Day last year.
Their flirty dynamic also played out publicly earlier this year following Jenner’s appearance in a Super Bowl ad for Fanatics. In the commercial, the 818 Tequila founder joked that she was betting on the New England Patriots to defeat the Seattle Seahawks.
Booker chimed in on Jenner’s January 29 Instagram post, writing alongside a blushing emoji, “I bet a million the Seahawks get that ring before you do.”
Jenner fired back with a playful jab referencing Booker’s recent injury, replying, “How’s the ankle?”
The exchange didn’t end there. Booker had the last word with a flirtatious response of his own, writing, “Come rub it.”
