The couple revealed they had a brief encounter before filming began but emphasized they “barely knew each other” prior to entering the villa. Chelley called the idea of a secret plan “laughable,” making it clear they were not cast as a pair and had no guarantees of coupling up once inside.
Both Chelley and Ace acknowledged that their chemistry was questioned by fans early on, particularly after the heart-rate challenge and due to Ace’s existing online following. Ace admitted he anticipated scrutiny because of his influencer background but insisted, “Everything I felt was real.”

Chelley also opened up about the impact of editing on their portrayal, saying, “People only saw certain things,” and explained that key moments of growth and vulnerability didn’t always make it to air. She believes this incomplete picture may have influenced public voting.
Despite being shocked by their elimination, the couple expressed gratitude for the experience. They confirmed plans to continue dating post-show, with Chelley moving to Los Angeles.
Both emphasized that their connection was authentic and not performative, underscoring that what they developed inside the villa was genuine.
In the wake of fan backlash, Chelley and Ace said they are focusing on what they gained: each other, and the chance to build something real away from cameras.
The final four couples advancing to the finale are Amaya & Bryan, Huda & Chris, Iris & Pepe, and Olandria & Nic.
