Caitlyn Jenner has filed a substantial creditor’s claim against the estate of her late friend and former manager Sophia Hutchins, alleging she is owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid expenses.
According to legal documents, Jenner claims Hutchins accumulated $439,095.88 in outstanding costs prior to her death. The filing outlines a range of alleged expenses, including credit card charges, cash advances, debit transactions, shopping purchases and shared legal fees.
The documents detail where the money was reportedly spent, citing transactions with platforms such as Shopify, eBay and 1stDibs, among other online retailers.
The largest portion of the claim more than $273,000 is tied to credit card charges connected to those purchases. Jenner also alleges that Hutchins owed over $133,000 in shared legal fees for attorneys they had jointly retained.
In addition, the claim includes nearly $16,000 in debit card expenses and approximately $7,000 in cash advances that Jenner says Hutchins withdrew over time.
Jenner states that Hutchins had authorized access to her financial accounts for work-related purposes, but any personal spending was expected to be reimbursed something she claims did not occur before Hutchins’ death.
The claim was initially filed in November 2025, and in March 2026, Hutchins’ estate approved the claim in the full amount requested by Jenner.
Hutchins died in July 2025 following a tragic ATV accident near Jenner’s home in Malibu. According to reports, she collided with a moving vehicle and was thrown down a ravine.
The legal dispute now adds a financial dimension to what had been both a professional and personal relationship between Jenner and Hutchins.
