Despite reports suggesting family tension, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are not concerned about son Brooklyn Beckham’s prenuptial agreement with wife Nicola Peltz, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that the Beckhams are neither worried nor upset about the prenup and do not view it as controversial in any way. According to those sources, both families supported the decision from the beginning, and the agreement was always expected.
Recent reports from a UK tabloid claimed that David and Victoria feared Brooklyn had been “absorbed” into the Peltz family, was financially vulnerable, or had become alienated from his own relatives. One claim even suggested Brooklyn was “being held captive,” a characterization sources strongly deny.
According to those close to the family, prenups are common practice in Hollywood, particularly when both partners come from prominent, high-net-worth backgrounds. There was reportedly never a scenario in which Brooklyn and Nicola would not have a prenup, and no one involved considered it alarming or controlling.
Sources also stressed that Brooklyn is financially independent. He operates Cloud23, an organic hot sauce brand that is said to be growing successfully, and is not reliant on family wealth.
As of January 2026, David and Victoria Beckham’s combined net worth is estimated at approximately $673 million. Nicola’s father, billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, is estimated to be worth between $1.6 and $1.8 billion.
TMZ reports it has reached out to representatives for David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, but has not yet received a response.
